Support pins are small metal pins similar to clothespins. Simply press these pins through the holes in the frame end bars so foundation is held in pin slot. For many, especially beginning beekeepers using crimp wired foundation in brood chambers, support pins are much easier to use than the sometimes tedious cross wiring to prevent foundation sagging.
